The razor sharp teeth that puppies seem to have can cause you some agony. You must try to prevent your puppy from developing this practice of biting with some Manic Dog Training. To stop your puppy biting different methods may have to be tried. Any little upsetting or bad habits shouldn’t receive a reward. If you would like your pup to mature into that wonderful family pet, you’ll need to accept responsibility for helping him. Dog behavior is rarely “good” or “bad” it’s just behavior. It is going to take some time, but stopping a puppies nasty habits must be done and is a fundamental part of your puppies dog training.

The boisterous behavior for a litter of puppies involves plenty of nipping and biting. Nipping and biting their new owners is very common for any puppy and will be the first problem they have to overcome. All new puppies take part in this behavior, but as a new member of your family actions will need to be taken to control it.

When your pup nips you, quickly give him asharp tap on the nose and say “NO”. If you tap the nose daintily the little puppy is only going to think that you are playing. A timid correction is a meaningless correction. One stronger tap on the muzzle, that gets the puppies attention could stop your puppy biting. A different way to go is, immediately after he bites, grab his muzzle with one hand, point at him with the other, and firmly say “NO”, this will eventually let him know that biting is the incorrect behavior. Your puppy may pick it up rather quickly, or it might take a little time, just don’t forget to show some patience. Youmay finally be in a position to correct your pup verbally after he understands what is happening. This verbal “NO” command is going to turn out to be terribly handy when he begins chewing on your shoes, socks, newspapers or anything else laying around for him to check his teeth on.

An alternative way of moving him away from biting you and your private items is doggy bones and chew toys. When the teething stage hits he is going to need something to chew and bite on so that the chew toys get to serve another purpose. Whatever toys you select have to be appropriate, they’ll need to be able to square up to the intense chewing by sharp teeth for an extended time period. Be careful of toys that are to tiny or poor quality because they can break off into s tiny pieces and get trapped in their throat.

While playing with your little dog, don’t encourage him to bite and play coarse or it may become a larger challenge to stop puppy biting, it’s best to avoid any unpleasant behavior marks at this time. It is going to take some time to mend the issue regardless of what method you opt to use. All puppies go thru certain stages in their life and puppy biting actually is one of them. Don’t fret though, you’ll be able to get thru the biting stage, just stay firm and patient.
